Yarrawarrah I
overview
A whole home renovation that reworked the floor plan as much as the finishes. Walls came out to open the rear of the house into a single kitchen, living and dining zone, with three skylights running the length of the ceiling to pull light deep into the middle of the plan.
The kitchen anchors the space with a deep navy shaker island under black glass pendants, soft white uppers, brass hardware and stone benchtops, with the sink set to the garden window. VJ panelling runs to dado height through the living areas and ties into custom built in joinery for the TV, combining shaker drawer bases, open timber shelving and a panelled feature wall.
A new study was built in with a full length timber desk and overhead storage, and the laundry was rebuilt in white shaker cabinetry with black tapware over patterned encaustic look floor tiles.
New wide flooring runs throughout, and an arched doorway and full height navy storage carry the detailing through to the hall.
