Shire Build's new design service takes the stress out of the 1001 choices you need to make for your renovation.

You know that exhilarating feeling when you first give the green light to your new home or reno? Part excited, part daunting. You know your beautiful new home is just months away, but what lies before it are one thousand and one decisions. And it can get a little overwhelming!
Renovating is a significant investment with fairly permanent results and we want you to love your renovation for many years to come. That's why we've introduced a design service to help guide you through the selection process and curate a cohesive look for your home.
Whether it's help to choose an overall style for your home, design and select finishes for one space like a kitchen or bathroom, choose colours, or a final run through of your choices to bounce ideas around and ask questions, we can tailor our service to as much or little input as you need.
Our light touch design service

Our entry level design service to get you on the right track includes:
A 15-30 minute phone call to talk you through your style preferences, where you're up to with key decisions and what area to focus on.
You then send through any visual references such as Pinterest boards, saved Instagram images, vision boards, tile choices etc.
We put together a presentation with ideas and looks, colours and fixture options.
A meeting, up to 90 minutes at Shire Build's design studio to talk through ideas, materials, finishes, colours including creating flat lays with samples and to discuss any ideas that come up around your floor plan. This may be a detailed look at one space, or may more briefly touch on multiple key areas in the home. This is time for you to ask questions about your own ideas so you feel ready to finalise your look.

Our bespoke design service
After your first consultation meeting in the Light Touch service, you have the option to brief our designer for further design support, whether that be to fully design specific spaces, or book ad-hoc consultations throughout your build process to seek ideas and work through selections as needed.
