KAREELA II
overview
A full home transformation in Kareela, delivered in stages. Phase one reworked the heart of the house: an open plan kitchen and living zone anchored by a stone island with a fluted, curved return, natural timber joinery and green stone benchtops carried through to full height splashbacks. Copper tapware and hardware run through every space, tying the kitchen to the butler's pantry, the bathrooms and the laundry.
French herringbone oak flooring lifts the whole level, and stacking doors open the living area straight out to the covered deck. The butler's pantry keeps the main kitchen clear, while the laundry pairs the same timber joinery with a checkerboard tiled floor and a direct line to the backyard.
Work now moves to phase two, a second storey addition that will extend the home upward with the same detailing.
